  1. Click on Exit or Close menu options to exit FONTS.DME

  5. It is possible to change the screen font to  any  valid  font  in  the
  6. fonts: drawer. Selecting the New Font option will present you  with  a
  7. small window at the bottom of  the  DME  screen  as this: setfont_.
  8.  
  9. Make a space after the "setfont" and type in the name of the font  you
  10. want to use, for example "courier.font 11".   Don't  type  the  speech
  11. marks, but don't forget the space before the  size.   Note  that  this
  12. appears to accept any font, but you'll get  very  confused  with  most
  13. proportional fonts, so I recommend only using fixed width  fonts.   If
  14. you don't know whether the font you want is proportional either  check
  15. with Fed, or load it anyway.  The worst that can happen  is  that  you
  16. may have to exit DME in order to reset the font!

  18. The fonts on screen are ONLY on the screen.  Files will  be  saved  as
  19. ordinary text files I'm afraid.
